WHAT IS THE PLYMOUTH MEDICAL ANALYSIS & CHARACTERIZATION (PAC) SERVICE?

PLYMOUTH MEDICAL has leveraged its years of cell counting experience and crafted a simple, quick and cost-effective solution: The PLYMOUTH MEDICAL Analysis and Characterization (PAC) Service. PAC provides complete hematological composition of samples for providers seeking to confirm what was injected. Moreover, clinicians can finally correlate platelet dose and cellular composition to patients' clinical outcomes. This will pave the way to establish minimum standards to interpret Dose, Purity, Efficiency and Activation (DEPA) [1] across indications and specialties.

THE VALUE OF PLYMOUTH MEDICAL ANALYSIS & CHARACTERIZATION

Not all PRP/BMC/MFAT is equal. The variety of Orthobiologics protocols and kits available on the market have led to conflicting clinical studies. This inconsistency has been attributed to wide ranging, and often lacking, dose and cellular composition in most studies. It is vital to quality control and characterize treatments to move the science forward.

APPLICATIONS OF PAC SERVICE

  • Differentiate your clinic from others and demonstrate PRP/BMC/MFAT metrics to patients.

  • Establish therapeutic dose to clinical outcomes to improve treatments over time.

  • Evaluate PRP/BMC/MFAT quality for non-responders.

  • Enhance quality control (QC) standards for PRP/BMC/MFAT protocols and monitor staff processing.

  • Compare different PRP/BMC/MFAT kits and methods to establish best practices.

HOW THE PAC SERVICE WORKS

  1. Order a PAC kit which includes up to (10) microtainers, (1) prepaid return label and secure packaging.

  2. Prepare PRP/BMC/MFAT sample per your existing protocol. Use (1) microtainer for whole blood baseline and (1) microtainer for sample.

  3. Submit the online collection form(s).

  4. Return your samples to the PLYMOUTH MEDICAL lab.

  5. Receive complete cell analysis in an easy-to-interpret report.
